Reina veda
2017 Andalusian PRE filly
double registered (ANCCE & IALHA)
Sold
Reina is being offered for sale. I know from having searched a few years ago that it is very difficult to find a quality PRE mare at any price! We were fortunate to have found Reina's mom, Mercedes PRO, who was in foal with Reina (sire is renowned Jalisco Dominante). We are now in a position where we want to sell a horse this year. It will be either Dante or Reina, whichever finds their person first. If we keep Reina, she will be bred next year.
As a 3-yr-old, Reina stands over 15.3hh (her mom is 16.2hh and her sire is 16.3hh). Should mature 16.1hh or more. She is very big boned and has inherited her parents superior dressage type movement. Reina is brave and highly intelligent. She has been in training since birth - loads, bathes, stands for farrier, ties, long lines, etc. The pictures below will show some of her professional training. They show her from birth to 3-yrs-old.
Reina is ready to start lightly under saddle in June - already has easily accepted her trainer, Jessica Nolan, sitting on her back. (Jessica is 5'9" tall) She will be ready for more serious work under saddle next year.
We want her to go to a person who will keep her as their personal horse - not just for breeding.

DANTE DE ARMANI
2013 BLACK SPANISH COLT
- sold -
Dante will stay black with no white markings except the fabulous diamond on his forehead & a small white band behind one hoof. Stands over 16hh+ and may still grow a little taller. Dante was imprinted right after birth and we continued the training process so that he will be ready to go as an adult. Dante spent over 2 years with Pippa Callanan and is now with Julia Wolffe - both are highly skilled classical dressage trainers.
From birth Dante had a striking resemblance to his grandsire, Genio III - in conformation, movement and presence.
Genio III was 16.3hh Spanish bred - born in Mexico and residing in the U.S. He is a superb example of the Pura Raza Espanola (PRE). Genio is the first U.S. Andalusian stallion to have one of his American born offspring exported to Europe for breeding purposes.
Dante was ready to be shown this summer prior to the Coronavirus stopping or delaying shows. Hoping to start up again in the Fall. His new owner, Keihanna, is now working on 3rd & 4th level in preparation to become amateur Bronze level worthy.
This is a very intelligent, forward thinking, well-bred gelding. Everyone notices when he enters a space!

DANTE'S LIFE UNTIL 7 YRS-OLD
Serena ERT
1999 Pure Spanish Andalusian
15.3hh
excellent price to the right home on the west coast
Serena has the conformation, temperament, intelligence and movement of a classic Andalusian.
Serena was started under saddle a couple of years ago and has been out at pasture since. She is in training with Jessica Nolan to be re-introduced to the saddle/rider. Although she does not have lots of miles under saddle, she was extraordinarily easy to start - with no bad behaviors - and retained what she learned even with days off before her trainer got back on. She'll trail out with other horses and is willing to be in front or in back, accepts going through water/over bridges, etc. Her "go-to" gate is the extended trot - super fun!
Serena is by the incredible Spanish dressage stallion Malandante! She is half sister to 2007 national champion mare and her grand sire is Genio III, imported 16.3hh black PRE stallion from Spain with Lovera bloodlines (a US National Champion) Andalusians are known for their fabulous dispositions, however Serena is extraordinary even among this special breed.

Serena's impressive lineage:
Malandante Gray PRE Stallion - 16hh - Sire is Genio III. Bred by Luis Arenas of Mexico - known for his extraordinary eye for beauty and movement. Malandante was a dynamic horse with lovely elastic movement. To quote Caballos de los Cristiani, "Malandante was one of the most important PRE sires to consistently produce functional gaits for open dressage competition. He was the stallion at the center of our dressage breeding program for years." Serena inherited his conformation and movement.
El Agrarista Black PRE Stallion - 16hh - Nicknamed Charro, he is the 'King of the Horses'. A magnificent black stallion - the first to come to the U.S. from Spain.
He is now in his 30th year and loves to babysit the youngsters. Charro continues to have a shinny coat and elegant demeanor. Still enjoys showing off his wonderful FEI movement.
Genio III 16.3hh - Bred in Spain, born in Mexico and residing in the United States, Genio; an incredibly beautiful, black, Pure Spanish Andalusian stallion, is a superb example of the Pura Raza Española. Genio is a blue black stallion with a small white star.
He has a long elegant neck rising high out of his wide, muscular chest and he looks at you with beautiful, perfect triangular eyes.
His coat is fine, shiny and always silky to touch. He is a fabulous stallion, proven to stamp himself on his foals over and over again. Genio has made a mark for himself on Spanish horses being bred here in the United States, and his fame is spreading. Genio is the first U.S. Andalusian stallion, that we know of, to have one of his American born offspring exported to Europe, for breeding purposes.

Catalina - 2009 rare chestnut Andalusian Filly
sold - contratulations dr. nicole in texas
Catalina
I have always said that Catalina has all the qualities I love in a horse! She is extremely intelligent, brave, willing, beautiful, an amazing athlete and has spunk (without being stubborn).
And her coloring!! As you can see, she is a shimmering dark chestnut with four white socks - very fancy - which is why we her nickname is 'fancy'. Her mane & tail are coming in thick with streaks of lighter colors.
Catalina could easily go both English and Western. She has amazing balance from behind and beautiful extension in the front. Her sire loves cows and I think she has inherited that trait! In addition she loves to jump over things. I'm confident Catalina will excel at whatever discipline she is asked to master.
Her trainer reports that she is extremely willing, intelligent with a powerful use of her back-end inherited from her sire (Mestino) creating excellent movement and a very soft ride.
